Chair met all my expectations. It is full size chair but the swivel allowed me to place chair in a small corner of bedroom, you can place chair within a 1/2 inch of corner wall & still swivel from side to side without chair touching your wall. Purchased 2 of these "open box". It was definitely worth the savings, I believe they probably look as good now as when first opened. Very pretty, color is very true to pictures. Measurements are accurate. Feels well made. I wish products like these overlayed the rattan on something more substantial or covered it with glass. I am hesitant to put anything on the bottom shelf because rattan is not very strong, but at the same time why cover it up when it is such a pretty detail. Great piece for this kids playroom. Its sturdy, has a good amount of storage and is a good height for younger kids. I got the gray color and it is very nice looking. The built in paper roller will be nice for drawings, homework and games. Assemble took a good hour but it was not overly difficult. I had no idea how this chair was going to be packaged for shipping. The box was pretty large, but managed to get it into the house on my own. It was completely assembled. All I did was turn it on its side and slide it out. The color was perfect for my room. I wanted the fabric to give my room that texture since the other furniture is leather. The seat is very comfortable and even has velcro on the underside of seat cushion so it will not slide out of position. The.low profile of the chair still allows sun to come in easily from the window. It was a little more expensive than some barrel chairs, but the sitting area will accommodate all body types who may choose to sit in chair. Others were not wide nor were they very deep. Considerations that were important to me. The box was easily cut up and put into recycling. I like the swivel feature that allows the occupant to talk to all in the room.
