Absolutely a great value and spectacular results. I could not be happier. I did a progress pic so you can see before and after. I also took a close up pic so you can see before and after I applied oil. If you really want this teak to be spectacular, use Dutch oil. I brushed it on thick (one coat) it really deepens and enhances the natural colors. I used natural color Dutch oil. It is plenty dark. But if you want it darker, it has color options. The machining of the wood pieces is not very good. Screw holes don’t line up and lots of pieces are off-square. If my husband was not extremely handy and stocked with a full workshop, we would have been sending this product back. He had to cut significant pieces off the feet to make it level and rework some interior pieces. Excellent! I love the look. I bought 5 boxes of these. I would give it 5 stars, but the reason I say 4 stars is due to the inconsistency in tile connecting pattern. I understand what the person meant about the tiles not snapping together properly in the reviews, it seems as though some the the tiles were assembled to connect from the left while others where assembled to connect from the right. This would suck, and not work if you only had one or two boxes and needed them all to connect precisely, but since I had 5 boxes and a big area to cover and extras I didn't even need to use I was able to make it work by connecting some backwards and have some edges not connect at all. My old cutting boards were several years old and one of them had started to crack. With the Thanksgiving Black Friday sales going on, I decided to take advantage of the sale and purchased two of the Tramontina teak cutting boards. ONE of the TWO that arrived was cracked in two and appeared to have been damaged during shipping. The damage was not the responsibility of Tramontina or Wayfair. Please see picture of damaged box. Wayfair's customer service was easy to work with and made it easy to get a refund. The second cutting arrived undamaged. I have two critiques. First, the cutting board is not perfectly flat and unleveled by about 1.5 millimeters (approximately 1/18 of an inch). The second critique I have for this cutting board is that the grooves on the edges of the cutting board were not finished and smooth. I am still giving this item 5 stars. This is a very large and beautiful cutting board that I think most people will like and therefore recommend.
