Mattresses & foundations are the core necessities to getting a sound sleep. They are also the main attraction to any bedroom. Finding the right mattress and or foundation is key to ensuring you, your family or your guests get a good nights rest.

What type of bed frame do you have? The reason for this is to see if you need a box spring or foundation. Some bed frames have a platform in which you wouldn’t need a box spring. If that is not the case then begin your search here! Looking for a box spring or foundation is essential if you are looking to have your bed sitting higher off the ground. When selecting a type of box spring consider the height of the mattress, size (similar to the size of your mattress) as well as type of mattress you want. There are certain mattresses such as innerspring, or two sided ones in which a mattress foundation would give more support to.

Do you have a preferred sleep position? Think about how you typically sleep, are you a back, side, or stomach sleeper? Knowing this can help you decide which mattress type is best for you. For instance back sleepers may need additional support to ensure they have proper spine alignment. Side sleepers may want to relieve some pressure so a softer mattress is more ideal for them. Stomach sleepers may find that softer mattresses aren’t suitable for them so a more firm mattress could benefit them.
