It makes a big statement in the master suite and actually competes with the view from the picture windows which has always been the focal point in the room. I searched for six months for a bed that I loved and didn’t just like or felt like I was settling for something that I was t 100 percent in love with. At first I was a little concerned about the color because it was described in one review as brown and another as grey and our new floors are mostly grey tones with some brown, our walls are a light grey. I worried it would be too much grey. But a different color comforter set made a big difference. I love the color of the wood and it’s texture. It is a little bit grand so if you are going for minimalist, this isn’t the bed for you. But if you love any kind of French or farmhouse or romantic, it would be perfect.
