I completely redid my kitchen during a move. All new dishes, glasses, and various other things. A lot of my cooking utensils were hand-me-downs from mother or father when I went to college, and I wanted newer cooking utensils. My boyfriend and I moved into a house for us, and I wanted stuff that could also serve for dining or serving with, so I wanted it to match my color scheme. These match my color scheme. They work for what I use them for. I bought 2 sets because I wanted two flat spatulas, and two flat slotted spatulas, same with two of each of the spoons. With that said, I do not have 2 of everything. The sets do not seem to be consistent. The first set I opened had 2 flat spatulas, and the second set I opened had no strainer looking spoon. I have attached pictures trying to show my whole set, and a picture focused on the items that either had 1 too many or 1 too few. I use spatulas way more than I use the strainer spoon, so I did not feel it warranted contacting wayfair for replacement. Do NOT rest these on or in your pots. These are melamine and will heat up along with the put unlike wood spoons, which take a long time before getting hot at the end you touch just from the spoon being in the pot. I ordered 2 sets of these really cute dishes for my sons little family. They needed some dishes that is sturdy enough to stand up to 4 kids all under the age of 7. They had chips all over their small set of dishes they had. I didn't read the description completely because I was shocked to find out these dishes are made of a composite of a plastic. They don't look or feel plastic. She loves the color or these dishes. I love that there were no coffee cups. To me that is the biggest waste of a set of dishes. These dishes are really cute but another drawback for me was the fact they are not microwave safe. I am not sure why there are ANY dish on the market that isn't microwave safe. Almost every home in America has a microwave. I had to call my daughter in law to warn her that these dishes are not safe for the microwave. The dishes are a nice weight without being bulky or too heavy. Both plates are a nice size. The best feature of these dishes are how nice and deep and big the bowls are. They make great cereal or soup bowls. You can also have a huge salad in one of these bowels. One last nice thing about these dishes are they are scratch proof. I was so happy to see even though these are made of a very hard plastic composite. They are scratch proof and unbreakable. They’re fairly heavy duty. One spatula melted a little the first time I used it though. I think it was my bad though because I was pushing some scrambled eggs around the pan and the spatula was in contact with the pan for a bit too long. Oops. The whisk is nice and heavy, but the handle makes my hand cramp when using it for a while. It’s fairly thick so I think if it was a little thinner, that might help. I put a picture of a “regular” sized whisk handle for comparison. I needed non-metal utensils for my cookware so this fit the bill.
