I put mine in front of the tray with my kitty's food and water fountain, and I can report that the material is easy to wipe clean as needed. Got the beige color for in front of my stove as Ive had multiple back surgeries and both hips recently replaced so need the cushion under my feet when standing or Im done in five minutes!
