Your average cheap mattress, definitely much less supportive and not as firm as your typical firm mattress, but as to be expected for the price. Doesn’t fluff up evenly or as nicely as you’d think if you’ve ever bought a quality bagged mattress you know what I mean. Fabric is super loose and not fitted to the mattress and the mattress does get that dipping effect when two people lay on it at the same time. Not the best, but not the worst either. This is a great looking bed for our guest room. We needed a second guest bed and wanted it to look nice but not cost too much. This bed feels well built and strong and was what l was looking for. I cannot give this enough stars - such an easy assembly although two people recommended for ease. Put this together by myself didn’t really care for the layout lack of detail in the assembly instructions the link for assembly video said “URL not found”..I found there were a couple pieces markedlettered incorrectly, which led to the confusion, but I eventually figured it out a completed the frame.
