Got this as an open box set and it seems sturdy and well made. There were a few small scratches on one of the arms, but don't effect the structure at all. Marash Carrot is a contemporary dining chair with a comfortable upholstered seat and backrest on a black coated steel base. The seat has a steel structure with “S” shape springs for extra flexibility and strength. This steel frame is molded by an injecting polyurethane foam. Marash seat is upholstered with a removable Hook & Loop Fastener, enclosed leather, leatherette, wool as well as Camira wool slip cover. Marash Stick may be upholstered with variety of other colors as a special order with a minimum of quantity required. The chair is suitable for both residential and commercial use. As pretty as the chair was it was too uncomfortable to keep. The seat measurement listed in the description was the same as my existing chair but the position of the back made it actually 1 or 2" shorter. And the padding was as hard as it it were wood. So sad. I really like the style, size and color of this chair. The description indicates the material is Chanel, but to me it appears to be more of a tweed. Only the seat swivels. The back rest stays in place. I think that’s a bit strange. I do really like the chair. I find it to be very comfortable.
