This product is hand-chiseled out of recycled steel oil drums by Haitian artisans using techniques first developed by Georges Liautaud in the late 1950s when he chalked out his first design on a flattened steel oil drum and then cut it out by hand with a mallet and chisel. I’m very happy with this metal wall art with red and black on most of the metal and brown and gold on the points and center. I put mine outside on the stone on my house. Looks great and has a nice weight to it. The wind won’t bother it a bit. It’s really nice looking!!. Annette. Sat May 16 2026
