I purchased this mid-century TV stand from Wayfair and came away genuinely impressed, especially given the price point. The construction is primarily particle board with a faux wood grain finish, but I have to say—the surface looks and even feels surprisingly close to real wood. Visually, it punches well above its weight. Assembly is fairly straightforward, but it’s not something you can do on autopilot. The instructions rely heavily on small diagrams that indicate panel orientation, and the details are quite fine. Take your time, study each step carefully, and you’ll avoid headaches. As an industrial designer, I pay close attention to both form and function, and I can confidently say this piece delivers strong value for the money. That said, this is not heirloom-quality furniture—not even in the same universe. But it’s not trying to be. It’s a well-designed, good-looking piece that, if treated with care, should hold up nicely and look great for years. If you remember one thing from this review, don’t over-tighten any fasteners or you will very likely compromise the integrity of that connection. May the force be just right for every connector bolt—because this is less “Imperial starship engineering” and more “scrappy Rebel budget build,” and it performs best when you respect its limits.. Got the 94.5" version. It's a beautiful console cabinet! Exactly as pictured, and provides great storage. Very modern and simple, though the warm wood gives it some mid-century modern vibes. Though it says 2 people needed for assembly, I was able to assemble it myself without much difficulty in around 3.5 hours (as a 5 foot 4 female). Having a drill is not absolutely necessary, but highly recommended for the assembly. The doors are easy to align once you get a hang of the adjustment screws on the hinges and what each of them does. The package is very heavy and very long however - took 3 people to get it into my apartment, with much difficulty, so do not recommend if you have lots of stairs or live in an apartment without elevators. I ordered this 47x16 Mid Century Modern Sideboard Buffet Cabinet for the alcove in my dining area of my downtown high-rise condo for added storage and appearance. I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality look and feel once it was assembled. It is a solid and heavy piece that should be durable for bar dining storage. I did choose to replace the included wood knobs with antiqued brass drawer knobs and have coordinating brass door pulls on order to replace the wood pulls. This hardware replacement really upgraded the look to an even more high end feel to coordinate with the other mid century modern wood pieces in the same area and only cost an extra 12. IMHO, This piece looks a bit smallershorter in person than in the pictures so definitely be aware of the dimensions of the cabinet before ordering and how tallbig of a space you are using it in. I ended up adding 2 in height with swivel levelerextender feet and will add wall decor above it to help make a bigger impact. The cabinet arrived well packed in a very heavy large box that really needs 2 people or a trolley to move. There was a corner of one of the doors that had a small bit of surface damage to the veneer that I was able to fix with a furniture and floor stain marker that I had on hand. There are many pieces that are all labeled and well organized. It took me several hours by myself to assemble. I highly recommend an electric screwdriver for the job especially when installing the back panels. The included directions are pretty clear as long as you pay very close attention to the pictures and direction of all the panels and groves and notches. For the price, the quality and appearance of this cabinet is outstanding and I highly recommend it as a great storage and nice looking accent piece especially for apartmentcondosmall space living. An architectural piece anchored in everyday living. Our TV stand brings mid-century modern rhythm to the room with a warm wood facade, slatted cabinet doors + a long, low profile. Four cabinets keep media tucked away, while slim legs add lift.

I purchased this cabinet in Black, 59" and it is exactly as described and pictured. It came packed very securely. Delivery was mostly on schedule, only delayed a couple of days likely due to winter weather. Assembly took hubby less than 10 minutes and only required attaching the legs and doors. I had a lot of difficulty finding a quality piece in this design style and size. I have to admit this cabinet lacks a few desireable features I wanted such as concealed wheels, venting in the back and cord management, but the quality and value are very good. The other brand I considered was priced at almost three times the cost of this gem! The sleek minimalist style of this cabinet is a great addition to our modern contemporary home. I'm very happy to have all of our audio equipment both stored out of sight (sorry, hubby) and accessible by remote without opening the doors. For reference, the TV in the pic is 65". Assembly took me a little while, but the instructions were easy enough to follow, and the final result was definitely worth the effort. Once put together, it looked amazing in my living room. A beautiful piece of furniture! Easy to assemble (one 70 female) except the doors, which required a second pair of hands. The cat wasn’t much help, but she had fun batting little pieces My only “issue” is the extra leg in the middle. It is raw pine and is visible. When I saw this beautiful sideboard on sale, I was both excited and skeptical. However, after reading the details and purchasing on “blind” faith, I must say that I’m very pleased with the final results! This easy-to-assemble piece instantly added a classy vintage vibe to my office. With a ton of shelf space, it perfectly marries design and practicality, making it one of my new favorites. My only critique is about the wood and material quality. It works nicely for what it is, but it can be easily scratched or dented, especially during assembly. I love the look of this chair and it fits perfectly with my space. The fabric, wood finish, and overall design feel high quality, and it looks much more expensive than it is. I was also not a fan of the included lumbar pillow, as I found it uncomfortable and ended up replacing it. Despite those minor issues, I highly recommend this chair.
