This is a set of service for four. Each place setting includes a dinner plate, a salad/bread/dessert plate, a bowl, and a mug.
The set came well packed in a box and there was no damage to any of the pieces despite the exterior shipping box looking a little battered.
These dishes are solid and on the heavier side, which I personally prefer. The colors and finish are what make this design stand out. It’s a beautiful pale robin’s egg blue crackle finish with a dark brown/bronze edge. The most eye-catching feature is the metallic bronze finish on the exterior of the bowl and mug. My pictures don’t show this well but the item photo on Wayfair captures it well.
The information states that these are dishwasher safe but I’ve only hand washed them so far so I can’t speak to how the finish fares after being run through the dishwasher.
The sizes and shapes of this set are part of the reason I chose it. The colors are great but if the dishes aren’t functional it would never get used. These will definitely be used! The plates are the perfect size and the bowl is great for soup, cereal, salad or whatever else you need -not so shalllw that’s it doesn’t hold any quantity but not so large that it’s overwhelming. The mug is a true mug, comfortable to grip and holds a true dose of coffee or tea, unlike some of those small, dainty little cups you see with a lot of sets.
This is everyday use and I’ve receved several compliments on it already. Only deducted a star because finding serving pieces that coordinate is difficult due to the unique colors and metallic finish.. Lisa. Phoenix, AZ. 2018-11-11 16:54:29
