This crib is gorgeous. I think i like it even more in person. It fits perfectly with our rustic themed boy nursery. The stain is a little darker in person than the pictures show it to be. This item was out of stock for a while not only at wayfair but at several other stores. Wayfair was fabulous in keeping me up to date and emailed me the moment it came back in stock. I ordered the crib right away and it must of been fresh out of the factory because it reeks of varnish. Luckily we have a month or two to air it out before baby comes. The instructions were not the clearest but we had it all together in about an hour. The wood is solid and It seems very sturdy. All in all i am very pleased with this product.. Tiffany. The crib itself arrived in an excellent condition (not even one scratch), the crib is fantastic and looks exactly like the photo, I would even give it a 5 star, the only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the crib has only 2 levels and the gate is very low, so when I put my child in there it was very easy for him to jump out from the crib, I called the manufacturer they said sorry this crib is made only for kids shorter than 35" (my child isn't 35" yet), However, I had to make 4 new holes in my "new crib" to make a new lower level. A great alternative to the expensive 'hardware store' crib. My only complaint is that the mattress platform is deep black, even on the white crib. This can be covered with a crib skirt, of course, but the four metal diagonal posts that attach the mattress platform to the crib are *also* black, and even with a crib skirt and sheets on the mattress, these black posts are exposed and stick out like a sore thumb against the white.
