This one is Big. Well, bigger than I expected, and I measured, but I didn’t realize how tall the glass lid was. This one is my first so I’m not really sure what’s the benchmark. It cleans relatively well, I have not tried in dishwasher yet, so far no “hot spots” where food burns, I had that with ceramic ones. Feels safe and solid, glass lid fits well. I love this enameled cast iron braiser, it is the perfect size to make various dishes, from stews to browning and slow cooking a roast. The glaze is a beautiful muted blue with a darker gradient from the firing, it is a really lovely effect. The pot looks and feels like it is good quality and a great value for the money. I recently made chicken paprika and it dispersed and retained the heat well and the dish was cooked perfectly... then the best part was that clean up was a breeze, all that was needed was warm soapy water and a dish sponge.
