The storage space underneath the cushion is only covered by some thin wood slats knit together so I wouldn't trust falling down onto that cushion. I like it, don’t love it. The slip cover is my favorite - it’s a thick linen and soft and really exceeded expectations there. It was really easy to put together. It’s not super, super comfortable like it’s pretty firm and the base has springs in it so it’s kind of hard and bouncy almost. The pillows are fine - way too big for the pillow covers that come with it but they technically fit. Id consider replacing the inserts. Overall, it’s fine. The sofa is a beautiful light beige color, exactly what I was expecting. Its comfortable and works great for my needs. The assembly does take quite a while, especially if youre putting it together by yourself. One thing to note is that parts K1 and K2 were confusing because they werent labeled correctly, and the L and R labels were reversed, so I had to disassemble part of the sofa before I could continue.
