Solid, well-made, and most important, comfortable! You don't "sink into" the cushions, which while supportive, are not at all too hard in my view. At a certain age, "sinking into the cushions" poses a real challenge when you go to try to stand up. (Don't ask me how I know.) I decided on four stars only because the very nice leather has an intentional "mottled look," which isn't my favorite, but I'll get used to it. I like how this looks, which us as expected. Overall, I think it's going to be good. I question it's sturdiness, due to how thin the seat platform and back piece are.
