We had a problem with one piece being broken but Wayfair and the maker of the bed sent a replacement. We only waited a few days. The bed is very nice. My only problem with the bed is that it says to buy a 8” or 12” mattress for the trundle. We purchased the 8” and we are unable to push the trundle back under the bed. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. Great choice! My only mistake was thinking a full size mattress was not much different in size than a queen. Fairly easy to put together but I did hire Wayfair install team to do it. Got this bed for our son. All in all it’s a very nice bed. Wanted the gray one but settled for the cream color as it is 50 cheaper. The upholstery is beautiful and soft. The bed is sturdy, i just wish the slats and the feet that supports the slats were made of metal. Take note that the maximum thickness of the twin trundle mattress is 8in anything thicker won’t fit. We got a 10inch mattress for the full bed, i think an 8 or a 12inch mattress would work fine too. It took us 2hrs to assemble it. Our son loves the bed. The trundle is NOT full size!! Every description on the website says full bed with trundle, full bed with trundle, full bed, full bed. Nowhere does it note that the trundle is only a twin. So we purchased two full mattresses.. And couldn’t return them. Beware of that! UPDATE - we have had the bed foe a year now and every single slat under the bed is broken and one of the rails that holds the slats (the slats act as a “box spring” and hold the mattress up). That is just from normal wear and tear … not vigorous activity or jumping on the bed. I’m disappointed. Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!.
