Boasting a transitional aesthetic with a hint of modernism, these glass doors are beautiful, cabinet style, one-piece frame. When installed, the fireplace glass door enhances the appearance of your family’s indoor, wood-burning, traditional masonry fireplace hearth. These fireplace glass door sets are designed for masonry fireplaces only and are not compatible with prefabricated fireplaces – see our sizing guide for more details. When it’s time to unwind from the day, this glass door set opens completely, providing a clear view of your burning fire. The smoked 3/16-in tempered glass doors must stay open while the fire is burning, and the built-in mesh firescreen panels act as a barrier to help contain embers. Both the glass doors and mesh panels have easy-catch magnets to help keep them closed. The glass doors can help you save energy year-round – when closed, they prevent ac and heat loss through the chimney by up to 90%. The hidden damper knob at the bottom of the firescreen provides additional airflow to feed the fire for bigger, longer-lasting flames. Closed fireplace glass door sets also prevent cold chimney downdrafts from entering your home and keep pets and children out of fireplace soot. These fireplace glass doors are surface mounted flat against the fireplace opening, allowing the doors to open fully to provide an incredible view of your fire from anywhere in the room. I love this fireplace! It gives off great heat and the illusion of depth is very realistic. We had it built-in with cabinets surrounding it and I think it is stunning.. Lisa. Cincinnati, OH. 2021-01-05 00:04:16

"With a classic aesthetic, the Ablah Bifold Style Steel Fireplace Doors is a great way to add style, safety, and efficiency to your indoor, wood-burning, traditional masonry fireplace hearth. Made of cold-rolled steel and boasting a durable, black, powder-coated finish, the set is easy to install and can be operated by a single person with ease. Whether you're enjoying a calming fire or waiting for the right time to light one, impress your friends and family with lovely new glass doors for your indoor fireplace. These Fireplace Glass Door sets are designed for masonry fireplaces only and are not for prefabricated fireplaces or metal fireboxes. See our Sizing Guide for more details. When it’s time to unwind and relax at the end of the day, the doors open completely for a full view of the fireplace. The track-free, compact, glass bifold doors have 3/16-in tempered and clear glass that takes up less space against the fireplace wall when open. The doors fold together in a low profile position, so there’s less chance of having to move items from your hearth to open the doors. The glass door handles are easy to grip and provide a nice, smooth feel as you open the doors. Always keep glass doors open and mesh panels closed when using the fireplace. The rigid mesh firescreen panels behind the doors prevent sparks, embers, and debris from leaving the hearth. When not in use, keep your fireplace doors and mesh panels closed with easy-catch magnets to reduce heat and AC air loss through the chimney by up to 90% to save energy year-round. Closed fireplace glass door sets also prevent cold chimney downdrafts from entering your home and keep pets and children out of fireplace soot. Installing new fireplace glass doors can transform your room's look and feel, all with the tools in your toolbox. The Fireplace Glass Doors are surface-mounted flat against the fireplace opening. 28" H x 37.5" W x 0.95" D Small 37.5” W x 30” H * Fits Openings 30” W - 37” W X 22.5” H - 29.5” H 31" H x 37.5" W x 0.95" D Medium 37.5" W x 33” H * Fits Openings 30” W - 37” W X 25.5” H - 32.5” H 31" H x 43.5" W x 0.95" D Large 43.5" W x 33H” * Fits Openings 36” W - 43” W X 25.5” H - 32.5” H

Really happy with this purchase; would recommend. The good: heats very efficiently. Once it gets going well, I put about one log in per hour if I have it turned to "high" for airflow and it heats the living room all day in Michigan winter; the room being approx 450' sq. The blower circulates air up from the bottom, around the stove and out the top so it projects the heat quite well. We have another fireplace off the same chimney in the adjoining room. That fireplace will consume in about 3 hours the amount of wood this stove consumes in a day, generating far less usable heat than the stove and about 4 times as much ash. The stove also looks good. The not-as-great: included screws to attach the blower are sheet metal type and at least one size too large. There is no way those things would screw in at all. I got some the next size down at the local hardware. One of those fit ok, the other still would not go in. I had some spare stainless steel ones lying around and found one that worked. But really the metal is just too thick for sheet metal screws to be a good solution here. They should be tapped for machine screws. That would hold the blower more securely. Sometimes also, the blower fan will vibrate a bit. I'll probably wind up taking it apart at some point to see if I can dampen that better. When it happens I just push on the front cover a bit, which works sometimes. Sometimes I turn the fan speed down and then slowly back up to where I want it. It can be a little bit high-pitched when running at high speed. I think that could be a problem for some people. If so, just know that you'll want to turn the fan down and get a bit less heat. It doesn't bother me much except when it starts vibrating.. Palmer Eldritch. East Lansing, MI. 2021-03-06 15:27:39
