I got this bed for my son. It’s solid wood and firm! My only suggestion is the supporting frame beneath the bed. It could have been designed better. Also, the slants were a bit frustrating because you have to space them out individually then nail them down. Also, I would have preferred woden-like stickers to cover the screw holes. The knobs that came for the holes do not properly fit. This bed took 3-4 hours to put together. It’s a bit tedious but I do love the look of it once put together. Love the sturdy construction of this bed. The wood color is exactly what I was looking for. The best part is the headboard- the incline is perfect for being propped up but comfortable while reading or watching TV. The adjustable height of the headboard is fantastic!
