Preamble I’m a real buyer. I paid full price. Every single one of the 200 reviews were incentivized, which means they got it for free most likely. Warning it’s about 105 inches long, not 108. Review I was looking for a cozy, modular sectional that wouldnt be a nightmare to set up, and this corduroy cloud sofa definitely delivers on comfort and convenience right out of the box. The material itself is easily the highlight of the couch. The green corduroy is unbelievably soft to the touch, but the cushions at least as of yet aren’t terribly plush and are quite thin. Putting the couch together was surprisingly stress-free. As promised, the assembly required absolutely no tools, and every piece fit together intuitively without any hassle. I was able to get the entire L-shaped setup put together and in place in no time at all. It is rare to find furniture at this price point that goes together so smoothly without having to dig through bags of loose hardware. The entire shipment came in two small packages that can be lifted by one person. That was impressive. However, there are a few design details that keep this from being a completely perfect five-star sofa. The back of the couch is noticeably low-profile and quite short. If you like to lean back with full upper-back support, you will quickly notice the lack of height, which makes sitting in the middle of a room feel a bit exposed and unsupported. Because of that short back, this sofa is definitely best suited to be placed directly up against a wall. Having a solid wall behind the back cushions gives you the extra support you need to lean back comfortably without feeling like you are pushing the frame backward. Also, while the footers of the couch seem steady, they are plastic. I think they’ll hold up, but don’t expect wood or metal. Also, I really wish the ottoman legs had anti slip rubber pads included. I purchased some for 3 but this should have been included. Additionally, the way the seat cushions sit and fill out creates a slight forward slope. When you sit down, the cushion shape tends to push you forward, making it feel like you are subtly sliding or falling off the front edge. I couldn’t find any good sectionals for under 1k, so this was a good deal for us ! Took us about an hour to put together. The directions don’t clarify certain things (the pieces to anchor the inner sections together have multiple size holes directions don’t reflect what goes where). We did get one screw that was the wrong size but other that it was pretty straight forward. I’m sitting on it about 19 hours after setup and the cushions have almost doubled in size. It’s nice and firm but still soft enough for you to sink in. It did not have a smell or anything which is great. The chaise pieces slide around on our hardwood floor, but with some grippy tape on the bottoms of legs, they stay put. The legs are plastic but not cheap feeling. So far it’s wonderful and it’s BIG!! I ordered the Hokku Designs Cloud Couch for our new home and I am obsessed!! We’ve been using it for ~3 weeks now and we love it! The couch is low seating, but we knew that going in and we don’t mind it at all. It’s very comfortable.. perfect for naps. We love being able to comfortably fit multiple people, and being able to move the ottoman is great when you need extra seating or more leg room. Beautiful, comfortable, and surprisingly easy to assemble! Definitely really happy with this purchase! We ordered this along with the matching 120” sofa, and we are very happy with both pieces. I was a little nervous about ordering couches online, especially without being able to see or sit on them first, but they ended up being exactly what we were looking for. Assembly was much easier than expected. Everything went together pretty quickly, the pieces lined up well, and once assembled, the furniture felt sturdy and secure. The cushions were compressed from shipping and definitely needed some fluffing and shaping when we first unpacked them. After working with them a little and giving them some time to expand, they filled out nicely and looked much better. The fabric is very soft and has a nice texture to it. The gray is a great neutral color, and the couches look much more expensive than I expected for the price. The cushions are comfortable while still having enough support that you don’t feel like you’re sinking all the way into them. I also really like the oversized, relaxed look of the back cushions. We purchased the two matching pieces to give us plenty of seating, and the 120” sofa paired with this couch fills our space perfectly. They look great together and give us a lot of seating without having to purchase a traditional sectional.
