This bed is amazing. Thought it would be too high but it’s fine. Used a 6 in mattress for the top. The middle and bottom both have 10in mattress but too high for big kids. Can’t sit up with the big mattresses. It’s best to stick between 6-8in mattress for the middle and for the top and bottom 6in mattress. Bed itself is great, but beware the delivery! All three beds in one box makes for a very heavy package. Ours arrived several days late in terrible condition. Fortunately, the damage was only cosmetic, so we still assembled the beds since our kids had waited so long for them. Overall, the beds seem sturdy and well made.
