Beautiful and timeless piece of furniture. This chest is definitely made of solid wood, it will last for years. I gave it four stars because it was damaged when it was unboxed. There is a large crack along the top of one side as if it was flipped or dropped while in transit. Keeping it because it fits my space perfectly and Wayfair gave a partial refund due to the damage..
