Shouldn't be an issue at all because you can also choose HOT in the menu button. Looks lovely on my counter and next to the Bodum grinder that I also purchased years ago from Wayfair. This is a replacement to a carafe that appears identical but was at least 15 years old. One difference is the inside of this one has a copper colored finish. This is a nice sturdy coffee maker without too many features that either confuse me or malfunction soon after purchase. I also like the sleek design and it fits well on my small coffee bar.
