We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. Love this little fan! I wanted something that would blend in with my decor better than what I had previously. Installation was fairly easy and I did it by myself in about 45 minutes. The fan runs smoothly and is very quiet which I’m very happy about. I do find that the fan itself doesn’t put out as much air even on higher settings than my previous fan but overall, I think it’s a great fan.
