Extremely well built. Very good quality. Nice heavy duty plastic windows and screens all around. Directions could have been clearer, but we figured it out. Setup was not easy, but worth it. It is tall, roomy, breezy inside. It is absolutely just what we wanted without spending thousands more on a wood-frame custom gazebo. This is an absolutely beautiful addition to my backyard! The directions were clear and although it took days to build it was actually pretty easy. My Dad (86) and me (57 yr. old female) did most of the work, except hammering the roof up. The first day were put together the 7 panels in the garage. The first one took a half hour, but the next 6 took 10 minutes each. The second day were secured the 7 panels and the door frame up on the deck. BEWARE that you watch that the panels are secured in the correct direction. After we finished we realized we had two boards wrong and the roof can't be put on if the boards aren't facing the correct direction. After the frame is up you are supposed to secure it at the bottom with brackets. My suggestion is throw away the 3 inch square headed screws and buy some Philips headed screws. Almost everyone stripped and would not go in all the way and they have to be flush or the fascia boards won't go up. You might also want to pre-drill some holes. Almost everything else is predrilled. The next day was roof day. Another suggestion, screw one roof trestle onto the round middle support before hand. We tried to do it the way the directions suggested standing on a ladder and after a half hour of no luck I came up with that idea and it was smooth sailing after. After the roof frame was up we started installing roof boards. Those boards don't have predrilled holes either and after a while we decided to predrill which made it much easier. The fascia was super simple to do and really made the gazebo looked finished. It took another 5 hours to stain. I still haven't gotten the shingles on because it keeps raining but hopefully this week. I have received so many compliments from neighbors. YardCraft really did a great job in the packaging and prepping everything to build your own gazebo. I am so pleased and can't wait to spend summer days in it!!!. Donna. Update: the gazebo is fairly easy to put together, but pay attention to the directions closely. It’s easy to put some parts on backwards and not realize it until later. For example, on the half wall sides, at the top point near the roof, there is a metal piece connecting the two beams. Make sure the two little holes are facing inward (they are for the roof). The material is manufactured wood that is rather soft. It doesn’t feel like trex boards. The boards are lighter than trex. It does take multiple people to put together. I would recommend at least 3-4 people, although the directions call for 5. The sides are put together and then tilted up. It is heavy and bulky. You need people to hold them upright while you attach the main support beams on the sides. After that, you only need 2 people. Oh and this would make a perfect live nativity scene setup at Christmas. I didn’t know what to expect regarding a wayfair delivery of a big and bulky item. This was by far the best delivery experience I’ve had. I received text messages from the warehouse with pictures, so I knew how the gazebo was coming. I could customize the day and time. It came on a pallet. Mine was delivered in a storm without any issues. They even carried it to the back of the yard, having to take it off the pallet jack for that. The pieces are very heavy duty.
