Beautiful drapes. I ordered the 108 in offwhite bc the beige looked too yellow and I was looking for more of an ivory. Unfortunately, these are much more grey than tan. More of an oatmeal. Will keep them though, they’re still gorgeous! These are definitely the type to pull either more grey or tan (cool v warm) depending on the other items in the room. The fabric on these drapes is great quality and has a nice texture like linen. It’s a good natural color. My only complaint on these is that the 96” labeled length only measures at 94”, so make sure you hang your rod a bit lower if you want them to be floor length.. Lindsay. I like the weight of them. They let some light in. They are also washable. The only thing I didn’t like was I couldn’t get all the wrinkles out. I washed them, thinking that I’d have less wrinkles then the square wrinkles they came with, and it just made it worse. I hung them on rod to dry, because I don’t have clothes line, tugged on them a little to straighten out edges(and I think they could have shrunk a little), then after they were dry I ironed them and still you can see light wrinkles in them.. Almost perfect but with one major issue. I bought the white 80x84 pair to cover an oversized patio door on a SW facing window. I wanted something that would cut the afternoon glare but not completely block out the light. These let in in the perfect amount of light I was really happy until I decided to wash them to get rid of the fold lines and a couple of small stains that they arrived with. I followed the washing instructions carefully and ran them on a short cold cycle. I saw many reviews saying these shrunk in the wash, but also saw lots that said they washed well, so I took a chance despite my apprehension. Turns out they shrunk by a full 6 inches and were way too short for my doorway. Fortunately the bottom hem is wide and I liked them so much that I decided to get out the sewing machine and lengthen them. They turned out pretty well. My theory for the different experiences that reviewers had is that the colored ones are pre-shrunk during the dying process...but the white ones arent. Its a long shot theory but keep in mind that the white ones will shrink a LOT if you wash them. Hope this helps!. Violet. Denver, CO. 2021-02-17 12:26:09
