It is also completely waterproof, so I do not have to worry about taking it down when the weather changes. The remote control makes everything easy, letting me turn it on and off, adjust the speed, switch the direction, and change the light settings without getting up. I haven’t installed this yet, but I believe this is going to be a handy patio fan. I like the fact that it plugs in so it can be moved whenever necessary, and the blades are plastic so hopefully humidity and such will not affect the integrity. It was easy to put together (took less than 20 minutes), but I would like to note that the blades read “this side up” but should be flipped while installing since you install them on the bottom… I had completely assembled the fan before I even noticed, so I hope that helps.
