We bought three of these to create some privacy from our neighbors at an awkward angle near our fence. They’re very pretty and do a great job of creating some privacy without being too harsh. Assembly wasn’t complicated, but it was tedious and a bit frustrating. You need to screw multiple nuts into bolts in very tight spaces and the parts are not machined well, so they don’t fit easily. Also, the tools they provide are nearly useless. After assembling the third one, my fingers were like raw hamburger. I recommend investing in a ratchet tool if you’re purchasing multiple screens. As others have said, they’re sturdy but aren’t going to sustain any significant wind. We installed them in soft ground with the included stakes but we will need to reinforce them as they’ll quickly lean. The flower design creates sharp edges that poke out and can easily hurt you. They bend back in, but be aware of this, especially if you have kids andor pets.. Anonymous. Tue Aug 25 2026

I bought these to convert to summer window screens on my 1958 house in Albuquerque, NM. In the summer, the morning sun hits my back windows directly and puts a lot of heat into the house (and I don't want to replace the original steel window frames). I cut the feet off of the screens and made brackets from 1.5" aluminum angle to attach to the window trim, plus legs to support the weight. The screens are very heavy, and the plastic geometric sections are fairly thick, which is nice. The frame is sturdy and the black finish is durable. Although the description says that these can't be painted, Rustoleum 2X seemed to adhere after scuffing the surface with a Scotchbrite pad and acetone. (We'll have to see how it holds up over the summer.) My only issue with these is that the panels bow in the sun. These are made in Canada, so maybe they're designed for Canadian sun and not the high desert. :) It could be exacerbated by the fact that I have the frame horizontal, but the panels were bowing when I had them individually upright to spray paint. I would have tried the steel ones but was less confident that I'd be able to get the rust off for a clean painting surface. It would be great if these were offered in a primed steel option for painting. Overall I'd say these are pretty nice, but would work better in a shaded area, or go with the metal version.. James. Whether it's your patio, deck or the balcony, the Veradek Privacy Screen Series in Corten Steel with its perfect balance of design, durability and convenience features a modern geometric design which is the perfect fit to create privacy, be used as a separator or fill out an empty space. Its thick gauge corten steel construction ensures that rust develops on the surface of the planter ensuring the structural integrity of the screen body for years of use. The raw steel will rust and develop a rich patina that will add a pop of color to any outdoor space. During the initial rusting phase, rust will drip from the surface of the screen. Veradek recommends placing an appropriate protective barrier between the screen and ground to ensure no stains are left behind

Exactly what we were looking for. The metal is not thin and cheap. Well made. We cut out the center of the panels to fit in a few of our kitchen cabinets doors that had old frosted glass. It worked perfectly. I’m sure it’s great as a screen too!. Michael. MD. Wed Jul 22 2026

This was a great sturdy option for me. I needed a fence to screen my dogs’ views to prevent fence fighting with the neighbors dog. As a single woman, this was something I put up myself in a couple hours (although probably not as well as more experienced people). But it does the job and no more fence fighting.. Angela. In today's era of the pursuit of efficient space utilization and personalized design, the privacy screen as an innovative interior design element is gradually becoming the darling of homes and offices. It is a clever blend of traditional partition concepts and modern aesthetic trends that can not only elegantly divide the space, creating both an open and independent environment, but also as a work of art, embellishing the space and highlighting the owner's unique taste.

I bought 3 screens for my backyard, it separates my table area from my grass area , when people are walking across from my house they can see a bit into my yard. This gives me great privacy when I’m at my table. And from the grass side I grow morning glories which climb up the screen which look great. I did move them against my shed for my NY winter and put them back in place for the summer and will go into the fall. They look great and so far they held up, (this is my 2nd summer) also I had no problem putting them together.. Dee. NY. Wed Jul 08 2026
