We are so happy with this playhouse! Our daughter is 2 (almost 2.5) and has been absolutely obsessed with it since the day we set it up. The pizza oven and grill are such cute features and honestly what sold us — she loves “cooking” for everyone and serving little pizzas all day long. The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. I need to complain first. The shed was supposed to be here april 12-15th instead it was on its way in February....that didn't work out so they postponed it until March 12th. Then there was a delivery issue, were they wanted me to pick it up (with a flat bed in ohio) OR rent a high-low to get it off there truck...!? Wait that's not what the add said!! Finally it came and got off the truck. The shed itself is easy to put together the trusses were a bit daunting and I would have to say the hardest part was figuring out the roof sheeting sizes. After that it was a snap, I even put in electrical and outside lighting in the soffit. I also used the box it came in to make a (FREE WORK BENCH) as well as rafters for extra storage...I used every bit of what they sent me and this is what I ended up with. The playhouse was pretty simple to put together. We opted for a wood house in hopes to keep the temperature lower in summer months. Parts of the roof are beginning to lift as the house has been rained on. It’s an easy fix but that was a prebuilt part which will need attention. I put this together solo in 5.5 hours. It was tedious but not the worst piece of furniture I’ve put together. It was well worth the assembly time as the finished playhouse was perfect for my daughter. Big enough for two children or a child and an adult to play inside. Good quality materials. Exactly as I expected. Look these sheds are low cost, so I wasn't looking for something fancy. It does the job and looks decent in the driveway. I am good at putting things like this together, but if you are not one of those people this might be frustrating. There are A LOT of parts. Use a drill instead of the screwdriver that comes with it. It will save you hours. This kit has eleventy-thousand screws. You are going to want to fill the floor grid with gravel or cover it with plywood, so figure that into the cost (plywood is cheap). The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together.
