Outdoor Portable Fence

As a pet parent, keeping my dog safe from driveways, yard gaps, and busy streets has always been a worry. Standard gates never fit my outdoor spaces, rusted quickly, or required permanent drilling. This Retractable Outdoor Dog Gate solved all those problems. Its expandable design stretches up to 209 inches to cover wide or irregular areas like porches, driveways, and corner gardens. Fast easy set up. It’s working well at keeping my 11 pound pup in the yard. I can step over the 32” height when snow comes because then the door won’t swing. The expandable fence is as described. It seems well constructed and is very easy to put together. I am going to use it to block off an area for my dog. She is smaller so I’ll be adding something at the bottom for the gap, which is not an issue because most moveable fences have a gap at the bottom. I like that these are not super heavy so I can move them into place and put them away easily. I’ll note that I recognize that my dog can push through or knock over the fence because it’s lighter in weight. This is not what was described and I'm so frustrated. The slats are plastic. The bottom part that goes into the ground isn't like the picture at all. It's a tiny plastic, not sharp point you stick on the metal pole at the end like a cap. I can't get it to go deep enough in the ground. The main reason I got this because it was spiked at the end and was supposed to be metal. I can't take the whole thing apart to return it. I bought 2 sets and am out $260. So, we had a bit of trouble in the beginning but Wayfair made it right. The first gate was dented pretty badly, we returned it received the second one which was missing the screws needed to put the footers on. Once the screws were received we were able to put it together correctly, I am so glad we got it. Its very heavy duty. The door is easy to openclose for access and its stylish.
