Always such fast shipping with Wayfair, even during this horrible virus, so A+ for that. This is a lovely cabinet and is perfect for my family room to keep my granddaughter's books organized. The design on the outside is beautiful, which is the reason I purchased the piece. However, the inside was very sloppily put together. It doesn't affect the use of the cabinet, but being a perfectionist, it annoys me to see such sloppy work inside. I am keeping the cabinet because I love it and will fill in with caulk myself to try and improve the inside. I would have given 5 stars being I love it and want to keep it, but the company that manufactures it doesn't deserve 5 starts with the inside of a cabinet like that. We like the look of our new bed, but aren't sure it was worth the hassle. I was looking for a grey wooden headboard and ordered this bed because I got an email saying it was no longer out of stock before I found anything else I liked. The confirmation email said it would be delivered in a few days. One week after placing the order, I got an email saying it would be another 2 months before it would be delivered (so basically it still wasn't back in stock). By the time it finally made its way to San Francisco (shipped from Brazil through Virginia, according to the packing slip), one of the boxes was smashed on one side, which caused the metal clips that connect the side rails to the headboard to be bent, and made for a major pain when putting the bed together and required several other tools to try and straighten the metal before digging into the wood with a razor blade to make it work. We also found that we had to reinforce the tiny wooden slats running from left to right underneath the mattress because that part is made of cheap wood. The color of the wood is slightly less grey than pictured in the website's photo and actually has a slight hint of blue to the grey. I absolutely love this bedroom set! It’s sturdy, solid (yes, pine…I know, lol!) wood and there is no noise when hubby and I toss and turn or get upin bed! We did add extra slats because we used a 14.5” mattress with no box spring. I think there were only 5 or 7 slats and we added a few more along with the extra center supports. I was able to assemble quite a bit of the bed myself until I got to the headboard and slats. One slat had two pilot holes vs one center hole to attach a center support so hubby took care of that. (I wanted to make sure that I didn’t crack it by adding a hole.) I ordered this as a 4-pc set consisting of (king) bed, two nightstands and a dresser, which saved a few hundred bucks vs ordering a la carte. You might be able to find it as “Montauk 3 bed” or something similar as the 4-pc is no longer showing. The dresser and nightstands are sturdy and the drawers glide perfectly. A word on ordering Driftwood color it is more yellow-orange as many reviewers mentioned. Although I was hoping for it to be more brown, it’s growing on my hubby and I, plus I thought the gray might be too much with my flooring as I wanted to keep the furniture lighter in color. This was for our lakehouse and I didn’t want white since that will be our daughter’s furniture color and our walls are BM White Dove.
