I’ve ordered these twice already. I love them. They go through the winter with no problem. I never take them out of the ground. They give a moderate amount of light, enough to be able to see what you’re doing, but not enough to bother the neighbors at night. If you have a light that doesn’t work, remember you have to activate the switch in the back. I even have some in shady areas but they collect enough indirect sun to shine at night. They look great in flower pots and really cool against black mulch and ground cover plants. I don’t care for the lights on a post. I’m shocked how beautiful this plant is. I was worried when the order was delayed several months, when finally shipped was delayed by shipper and arrived with the box crumpled on top. But the plant is perfect. No damage, no yellow leaves and the soil is still damp. It’s a perfect size for indoors. I’ll leave it here over winter then let it run wild in the backyard this spring.. I ordered the LED path lights and they arrived in its original packaging, so no surprise as to what it is.   They are pretty neat!  On the backside of the light is a switch to make them colorful or just white.  Each one will go through a series of color if you choose that option.  They have way too many shades of colors to even count them.  The post for the light and the “stake” are pretty tight fitting which makes it nice so they don’t just fall off.  I would suggest using a rubber mallet to place the stake first and then attach the rest (if your ground is hard).  It is still plastic so care needs to be taken while placing in the ground.   The only thing I wish different, would be a way to make one of the colors stay lit but even with the ever-changing colors it does make a nice visual calming effect in the yard.  The package has 8 LED solar pathway lights, so arranging them throughout your yard or in planters makes it easy to add color here or there to your liking.  They are not too bright but enough to lighten a pathway or just adding accent lighting to your landscape.    I am going to leave them on the white lighting until the holidays and then switch it over to the colorful setting.  That is just a wonderful option to have!  Pictures are inside and upside down to attempt at getting the show of possible colors.
