This bench was very easy to assemble. I just had to bolt the legs on and the tool to tighten was provided. It looks perfect in our space. The fabric is nice quality and the welting was done well. It is a cushioned top but very firm!! We do not plan to use this bench on a regular basis but I imagine if you were using it more frequently it would soften up.
