It looked like someone opened the box, saw all the pieces and parts and put the lid back on. Plan on 4-5 hours and have a helper available. Have something that measures in metric because all the screws and bolts are that type. Pay attention to the difference between a "stepped" and "oblate" head of a bolt. To the manufacturer- please label the screw and bolt packages just like the other parts. I'm happy with them and my wife commented how nice they look but take your time with the assembly.. Dave. this set was actually much nicer than expected. Had purchased to put on our front porch and not really be used (more for visual than function) but they are comfortable and really nice in person. I ended up moving something else out on the porch and added these to the deck so that we can enjoy them. Easy to put together. My thirteen year old son did everything start to finish. They do swivel and rock slightly. Cushions are fairly thick which was a nice surprise. I figured I'd have to have them replaced as other sets' cushions have been lackluster at best.
