The lights look great and they are sturdy. The only issue is that 4 of the 12 lights don't screw in properly (the umbrella doesn't screw into the pole because the threads are damaged). I’ve ordered these twice already. I love them. They go through the winter with no problem. I never take them out of the ground. They give a moderate amount of light, enough to be able to see what you’re doing, but not enough to bother the neighbors at night. If you have a light that doesn’t work, remember you have to activate the switch in the back. I even have some in shady areas but they collect enough indirect sun to shine at night. They look great in flower pots and really cool against black mulch and ground cover plants. I don’t care for the lights on a post. These really add the perfect lighting with a touch of flair. The remote makes switching color schemes easy with the touch of a button and we love to try different colors to change the mood settings. These really light up the whole yard, not just the pool area. You can adjust the lights to brighten or dim and there are different modes setting like solid color, strobe, or multi color. We perfer just warm white lights to brighten the area but the colored lights are also very cool when we have company. Everything is included for setting up. Even a template to use as a guide for screwing pucks to railings with the keyhole screws in the back of the puck lights, which I did use and the remote does come with batteries. The remote is long range so we can turn these on from the house (100 feet) These will also be used around the house when the holidays come for a more festive feel. The lights are 10 feet apart with a 20 foot lead wire so you can cover a lot of area in your yard. These are fantastic for looks, lighting or just to add beauty to your yard.
