I'm not particularly happy with these. I'm not sure how much was the team who installed it versus the actual tile. I love them in the back part of the shelf, but when we put them on a flat surface they just looked terrible. We pulled them off and used a different tile in a different area that was supposed to have these because they didn't look good. You can see that the bench does not look good either, but it looks better than the other area that we redid. The tiles are very thin and so the contractor had a hard time getting them the right level to go flush with that silver edging. They also would break off of the matting which made it hard to use these tiles. Because of all of the compensating with the thinness and fragility, they aren't level so the grout is just all hodgepodge in there and I think it looks horrible. I think we are going to pull out the tiles on the top of the bench and redo it. We might try to do it ourselves using the same tiles or we may abandon these and use something different. . Peggy.
