The packaging was great. However, the items had many scratches and chippings. The wood or the engineered wood is pretty cheap and I wish they had used better material. I absolutely love this product. I have never used a peal and stick tile before but this is so easy to work with. No tile cutting machine and the back adhesive is so strong. I tried to lift it and it was on super well that I couldn't move it without ruining the wall so I will have to touch up a small part with grout. I did use a brayer roller to press the tile down after applying them to the wall. I did have to prep my wall where I removed the original tiles to fill in where the tile pulled away some of the drywall when removing the existing tiles. I just mud and sanded those spots flat before adding the new tiles. Make sure you have it clean well before you add the new tiles It's so nice that you don't need to grout it after applying it. It can be cut with an X-act-o knife. You have to score it several times but if you have ever done any drywall repair it is similar to that where you score and snap it and then cut through the seam. It's made of a composite material like laminate flooring but thin. Very durable. It comes in black or white sheets and they are not quite a foot square. I will caulk around the edges after I paint the wall. It says you can use it in bathrooms and kitchen and that it is heat and water resistant. I used it above my utility sink in my wash room. Looks so good! I’m a rookie when it comes to stuff like this, but this wasn’t so hard to install. We made some mistakes but it still looks fantastic. It comes in single planks- the picture shows three, but it’s all separate planks you lay on top of each other and they make the perfect spacing. We used liquid nail and hammered nails in since we don’t have a brad or nail gun. Gun would make this job even easier, but you live and learn. We painted after and it looks awesome. Couple planks came in damaged, (and boxes looked kind of roughed up when I got them) but Wayfair was awesome with their customer service. Super happy.. Jennifer.
