This was one of my favorite projects in my new home remodel. I always loved a jewel box powder room and I think it came out FANTASTIC. Easy installation but I had to use a hardcore primary to get a smooth finish. Don't like the smell it leaves behind for a few days but if you want a smooth finish you need it. I’ve already gotten compliments on these panels. They add a much needed accent to a wall that was way too bare. They also are not overwhelming to the space but do add an illusion of height. I dropped one star for assembly issues. I started with liquid nails but no matter how long I held them, they slipped out of place when I let go. This texture wallpaper is quite lovely. Heavyweight but not heavy, has a foil backing to peel off and stick to the wall which was very easy to do. A bit hard to see on my white wall but it’s very nice to give added interest I’m thinking it could help with sound and insulation I’m also thinking of other ways to use so I can purchase more for other projects. This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive.
