This is a short ramp which works great in areas you don’t want to have to trip over the dog ramp. Mat on ramp helps dogs feel more secure in grip. Only down side is you need to watch that the ramp doesn’t slip off of whatever you are using to prop it up. It does have a strap to secure it to something to prevent it from slipping but as I use a foot locker, I have not been able to do that. The ramp works pretty well. Some training was needed to get my dog comfortable with using the ramp. The biggest issues I encountered after two uses: 1) The ramp leaves scratches on the "car" bumper. Placing a small towel between the ramp and bumper may protect against scratches. The manufacturer should consider attaching some nonabrasive material to the portion of the ramp that will contact the bumper. Or at least provide recommendations in the package for avoiding damage to the bumper. 2) Widening the ramp a few inches would improve the ease of use. I rate the product slightly above average. Some people's reviews I have read proves they didn't follow directions, follow it! This is expensive and worth it do it correctly.
