Pillow protector appears to be very well made. UPDATE: Washed for 1st time and found stitching on one case completely undone leaving a 3 inch hole that needs to be repaired. Seems completely airtight moisture resistant. Instructions stated to be sure pillow and protector are completely dry before zipper closed. This will prevent possibility of mold growth. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended. These washed up well and feel like a good quality, they do have a little bit of noise to them which is expected for waterproofing. The zipper closure is a nice touch as well, the issue I’m experiencing is with a memory foam type pillow that breathes in and releases air as you move, the cover almost acts like a vacuum seal and doesn’t really let the air back in.
