My mailbox was hit 3x in the last 5 months so i found this on Wayfair. Really love it. Looks expensive, very sturdy, attractive color. Two reasons for not giving 5 stars. The first is that it did not come with a kit to attach it to the post. Maybe this is not a given, it was my first time ever installing my own mailbox, but it would have been nice if the description had noted that a kit would be needed. I ended up having to delay installation a day because of needing to go to the store to buy a kit to attach it to the post. The second reason is that my mailbox came with a little chip of the bronze material missing. I’ve shown this in one of my pictures. I would expect that a mailbox that is outdoors would have stainless steel screws. With a white finish I can look forward to brown stains from the rusted screws. In addition, we originally thought it was going to be way too big for a mailbox, however the size ended up being perfect and not overbearing. Likes: -We love the way it looks. Unique to other mailboxes in our neighborhood. -The opening is larger for additional mail items such as the smaller packages we receive that usually end up sitting on the ground by our front door (sometimes getting soggy or wet). -Sturdy -Durable plastic material -Magnetic piece to keep the door closed -Love the plant hanger option on the back, easy to assemble. Dislikes: -a little difficult to put together -instructions needed to be clearer regarding attachment of the top to the bottom of the actual mailbox (where the mail goes into).
