Frame came somewhat as pictured. I feel like the product photos make it look as though the foam is more structured than what it is. The frame arrived around 3 pm and I started it at 6 and finished an hour later. Photos are right after I put it together and I opened it when I started it. It may look better after it’s had a longer time to fluff. I will probably steam it. Not sure if it’s worth the cost but it’s not horrible enough for me to send it back. I will figure it out.. The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. This bed is wonderful! Very sturdy - quality materials with an extra bag of screws. I appreciate the Velcro option with the slats for stability. The color is being and seems like it will be easy to spot clean. Took a couple of hours to put together with two people.
