I absolutely love these curtains! I recently redid my living room and I must say that these curtains transformed my entire living room on a whole another level! I love that fact that it was sold as a complete window set and I did not have to buy the valences and panels individually! The material is very rich looking and the bead work on the valences is so pretty! I only managed to lose about two beads on the valences during the unpacking process! Be very careful when placing the panels on your rods ... they can and will snag easily if you are not careful. The color is a vivid turquoise but not to bright ... it’s just the right hue!!! These curtains are definitely worth the price - I am going to buy another set for my guest room! I absolutely love the unique design and the luxurious looking/feeling of the velvet (and it comes with the gold tiebacks). I completed the look by finding sheer curtains to go with them. The velvet does reflect different color under different lighting as described - it's a brighter gold/grey color reflecting sunlight but darker color without the sun. The only hassle is that there are wrinkles all over the fabric when they first arrived, so be prepared to use a steamer iron following the instructions and it will look so much better after ironing..
