I have prepared a pizza, chopped veggies on a wood board, laid all sorts of tools and heavy items on the table, but my kitchen island's tabletop is safe! I also like that it's mostly clear, so you can still see my pretty table surface underneath. And best of all, it was the perfect size for my kitchen island! The only negative I could say is that it does tend to be a bit slippery and doesn't grip the table. My cat jumped up and the entire protector and the cat went flying!
