Very sturdy, solid, beautiful piece! The instructions are terrible - thank goodness for another reviewer who suggested putting it together upside-down! Use the styrofoam inserts to pad the top and put it together, upside down, from the top down. With two of us, it took ten minutes. However, to look at it, you'd think it's an heirloom piece. <3. The desk arrived damaged with visible cracks once we were finally able to assess it. To make matters worse, the delivery team left it right at the storefront without giving us any opportunity to inspect the product—they just dropped it off and left.
