We're using this as a hostess stand, and it works great. It's large enough to hold all our menus and supplies, and everything is hidden from view. I was not disappointed in this podium it was exactly what I expected. It is sturdy and well made. I ordered the black and there were no surprises. It came assembled which was a huge plus. These are sturdy and well made lecterns. I have purchase 5 of these over the past couple of years. I have also purchased several other VFI podiums. I believe they are a bit over-priced for what they are made out of (fiberboard with laminate), but they should prove to be durable over time. The multiple grommet locations are great for different cabling options. The doors on the front and back also are great for getting computer equipment installed. One thing that stands out is the height, which is not too high for "height-challenged" individuals. This lectern also includes a slide out keyboard/mouse shelf. I love it, it is an amazing product for our church, it did take some figuring out to put together but .ost things do I suppose it arrived quickly I have nothing but good things to say about it.we have had it for awhile I do love it however I have only one complaint it seems to have a crack on the inside of the plastic desk part and is slowly growing mu fear is it will reach the edge and just break, I would hate for it to break then not be usable especially since Im still paying for it.It has been a blessing these months weve had it it is much nicer and larger then what we had before..
