Easy to assemble. I had purchased a few Lakeside chairs approx 5 years ago. Added one more to the set and realized that the Lakeside chairs are a slightly different style. I assume this is a newer model. The seat is flat and does not have the slight curve as the older models. And the slats are wider, versus the thinner slats from the previous model. I love my Polywood chairs! I put 5 around my round table and 4 at my island. They are all the same height,(24 counter stool), color and style. I decided to get 7 of the chairs without arms to make it easier to get in and out of for guests. Eventually I will add chair pads. We love the Polywood furniture. All the items we’ve ordered have lasted beautifully and we have no complaints. Three of our barstools are 3 years old and other than maybe some dirt on them you cannot tell the difference between them and the new barstool we just ordered.
