Just received the table this week. Overall I love it. It arrived in 2 large boxes. It is very heavy if you are not paying for the service to assemble it you will definitely need help. The dining tabletop is 2 pieces and on the underside is the ping pong side. If you intend to use the table as a dining table when not playing pool or ping pong I would recommend using a waterproof tablecloth because if liquid spills on the tabletop it could drip in between where the 2 sheets intersect and stain the felt of the pool table. You do need to be careful with the wood veneer it seems like it scuffs easily. The assembly is easy but again the table is very solid and heavy you will need at least 4 people to move it, the instructions recommend 6 people. The pool table and ping pong is a nice size for both kids and adults. The benches are very sturdy and will hold all of the accessories even the cue sticks fully assembled. For the most part, a high quality piece (for the price). You will want to buy different ping pong paddles and pool cues--both were very cheaply made. The cushions on the benches were very comfortable. Eventually, we will probably add a layer of Formica to the table top to make it more durable, but for now, I just cover with plastic And a tablecloth. Agree with other reviewers the stain color of the melamine is much darker than it appears in the pictures. Great looking pool table, great quality. The slate and top are one solid piece, so plan your route to its destination accordingly. Ping pong on the metal table top is good enough. The ping pong net is of high quality and easy to install/un-install. The benches are metal like the table with composite wood tops. Overall, the only thing I would change is going with the 8' instead of the 7', for both pool and ping pong. However, I measured beforehand, the 8' table would not have have made it through the angle and doorway necessary to reach its destination. Aesthetically, the white looks great with the blue felt and gray bench tops. I will have to say that for the price, the materials could have been more substantial . The locking mechanisms were cheaply put in and we had to purchase longer screws and washers.
