Just received the table this week. Overall I love it. It arrived in 2 large boxes. It is very heavy if you are not paying for the service to assemble it you will definitely need help. The dining tabletop is 2 pieces and on the underside is the ping pong side. If you intend to use the table as a dining table when not playing pool or ping pong I would recommend using a waterproof tablecloth because if liquid spills on the tabletop it could drip in between where the 2 sheets intersect and stain the felt of the pool table. You do need to be careful with the wood veneer it seems like it scuffs easily. The assembly is easy but again the table is very solid and heavy you will need at least 4 people to move it, the instructions recommend 6 people. The pool table and ping pong is a nice size for both kids and adults. The benches are very sturdy and will hold all of the accessories even the cue sticks fully assembled. So far so good only had it a month or so but has been raining and the cover does a pretty good job of keeping dry even with heavy rain. Look is awesome if it fits your decor…put it on the side without any damage to move it around and no damage. You can move with two people, depending on how big you are will determine how easily, I’m a small guy at 150lbs so it is doable lol. Shipping sealed the deal for me because they could guarantee taking it to back if my home and other companies couldn’t guarantee that. For the most part, a high quality piece (for the price). You will want to buy different ping pong paddles and pool cues--both were very cheaply made. The cushions on the benches were very comfortable. Eventually, we will probably add a layer of Formica to the table top to make it more durable, but for now, I just cover with plastic And a tablecloth. Agree with other reviewers the stain color of the melamine is much darker than it appears in the pictures. Overall, I am really happy with this table and I would recommend it to others. This table is slightly smaller than a regular 7 foot table, but it worked perfectly for my basement. My basement playing area is 11'8" wide, and I had to buy 48" cues to allow for a full backswing. Pros: - The table is very sturdy and made from mostly quality materials. - The slate top is smooth, rolls true, and is not overly heavy for what it is. I was worried about the .5" slate being too thin, but I don't foresee it being a problem. - The metal has a really nice textured finish that allows your hand to slide across it nicely. - The dining top is made of the same quality metal. - The bumpers have a nice feel. - The underside of the slate has a nice metal frame for support. - The included table cover has a tailored fit with air vents. It goes all the way to the ground and can be buckled to keep it secure. - Was not too difficult to move down stairs for 3 people. The playing surface all comes in one piece. The dining top and legs can be carried separately. - Fits perfectly in the room for its size and aesthetic. - The pool cues, triangle, and balls are of respectable quality. Cons: - The dining top does not fit perfectly snug on the top and has a little play in all directions. Also, the two piece do not lock together, so they can separate towards opposite ends of the table and leave a gap in the middle. I think I can come up with a DIY solution to solve this. - The pockets are all plastic and feel pretty cheap. This is the one part of the table that I feel they skimped out on. - Since there is nothing under the slate, dropping the balls on the table from any height greater than a few inches is very loud and echoes. The quality of the balls might be affecting this. - Similarly, the dining top only has one support to keep it off the playing surface, so it has a tendency to be loud, especially when playing ping pong. I think I can add some dampening under the dining top to help this. - The felt feels pretty thin and gets marked up easily.
