It's a popcorn popper. It works as expected with no issues. It does however look great and is a far cry from the basic black popper I bought in college 20 years ago for $6 that is still kicking. The first couple of times I used this I didn't like it. The popcorn seemed a little soggy. I tried something different and found that the popcorn comes out great if you take the butter melter off the top of the machine and cook it so all the air can escape. the popcorn was fluffy and tasted terrific. I just melted the butter in a pan on the stove and poured it on the popcorn. I love this machine. It is so easy to use and the popcorn comes out so fluffy and perfect.
