We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (a high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.
